Kapit trip

Our trip (me and my brother) started after we watched the Argentina's victory against Korea. We took a bus from Kuching departed at 10pm. I could not really tell about the journey as i was sleeping through out the journey. Happily over Argentina's win. We arrived at Sibu's bus station earlier than expected. 5am.

Then, we straight away went to the jetty. We took the earliest boat to Kapit which was at 545am. Then another 3hours trip to Kapit. There are 2 seats; 1st class is the one with air-conditioner and it was RM 30 and the other one is without and it cost RM 25. They showed Prince of Persia and I collapsed half way.

Sometimes, if you are lucky, maybe they show porn in the boat.

Kapit
Like I said, it was a busy town with disproportionate numbers of cars, and people. Since we both were really tired from the longgggg journey, we quickly find a nearest hotel to check in. Don't aspect to find Hilton or Grand Continental even. We found new Rejang Inn.

about the hotel..We were really glad that it only cost RM60 per night. But once we got in. It was a dissapointment. The room was small. I step to the door and another step you already reached the toilet. But still, was not bad as long as we can have a place to sleep. But the major problem for us was the toilet. It could not flush (has to do it manually) and my brother rather walked few meters away to the gas station outside to do his business.
The gas station. Whoever owns it must be frigging rich!

The Hospital was awesome. and scary at the same time. It was quite a big hospital occupied more or less 150+ beds. I went to the wards and the ED. Looks OK. So far looks under control. But still scary to work there. Hopefully i will not kill anyone.

Then we had a tour of the town. My God. Am I an alien? I couldn't understand a word they say and it was nearly impossible for me to find a Muslim and Halal Restaurant. But finally we managed to find an Indonesian restaurant. And a fastfood restaurant; Sugar Bun.

We rent a van, paid RM 20 for the guy to bring us outskirt. It was not bad. Kapit really beautiful. With all the hills and you actually can even see a few descent houses outside Kapit town. Really, it was not that bad.

Some of the big houses at Kapit. Nice descent ones

Fun Fair!!!!!

We left Kapit the next day to Sibu. We stayed at Tanah Mas hotel. It was quite near from the jetty. A walking distance. It was much much better hotel than Kapit's. My brother like that a lot. The toilet is more than statisfactory. More relaxing. We went to the night market, bought a T-shirt and a shade. Walked around to see Sibu's night life. I went to bed quite early.

Sibu

Ajat was so happy to have a functioning toilet with telephone at the side!!..Ibu I can shit like normal now!!!

Sibu night market. I love night market.

We left to Kuching via airplane. From Sibu Town to the airport was quite far. more or less 30min taxi drive and it cost RM30. The airport was small. Like a bus station. We arrived Kuching after 45minutes.

Our ride, eh no..someone elses' ride is approaching.

That's all. It was a very short trip.
