movie reviews 4th edition?

I have been watching quite a number of movies lately. Most of them are the contribution from the previous MO who was kind enough to leave a box of pirated movies in the MO's room. Thanks a lot.

1) All About Steve
Honestly, the reason why i wanted to watch this movie in the first place was because of Sandra Bullock............ Ok I lied. Haha. It was because of Bradley Cooper. Ooooo...That's more like me isn't it? Talking about bitch and desperado? That kinda my thing nowadays. Sigh. But the movie was entertaining. I never knew that there is such thing as crossword constructor???..It is an actual job!!! Must have missed that out during carreer week. Ok. It was about this girl, a crossword constructor (Sandra Bullock), who has been labeled as "abnormal". Defined as too dedicated to her work, making crosswords everyday, eventhough she loves it but people thinks that she is weird, doesn't have life and rarely or almost never socialize with people (is that weird?). She was like this walking and talking encyclopedia. She should have because she is a bright girl who knows everything under the sun and she likes to talk about the things that she knows which somehow some people found that annoying. Really at some point.
One day, she had a blind date set up by her parents with a charming, normal american guy (Bradley Cooper). She had a crush at first sight and found herself attracted to him. After that brief date she had with Cooper, she thinks that Bradley is her "the one" and subsequent events in her life makes her believe with that even more. Hence, she deciced to follow Bradley ( he is a cameraman from a local news). In the end, not only she knew that Bradley doesn't love her, she has found what is important in her life and what is so called "normal" for her. Normal for people may not be necessarily normal for you. Its a subjective. It was a funny, cute story.

Storyline :C+
Actors level of hotness: Sandra's character was sooo cute and entertaining, Bradley was not at his best. C
Overall: C+

2) One Week
What will you do if you have one week to live? For Ben Tyler(Joshua Jackson), he went for a cross- country road trip on a vintage motorcycle. (I wish i can do that right now) What starts off as an ill-defined venture soon morphs into a quest for the West Coast. West Canada. The story was not that great. So is about a guy who is dying and not happy with the fact that he is dying and try to live his life to the fullest. But the highlight of this movie was Canada is soooo beautiful. I would like to have my picture taken exactly like how he has done. On that enormous chair, enourmous dinasour, enourmous pipe. Every single thing. The scenery was spectacular. The canyon, the beach. Everything. Lets go to Canada!!

Storyline: C
Actor level of hotness: C
The scenery: B+
Overall: C

3) Remember Me
Robert Pattinson. Yup, because of him. From that romantic pale vampire who whispers in every conversations to a rebellious young kid. I prefer a bad-ass-disturbed Robert. It was a very simple story. About normal people in normal life. Robert, who is a rebellious kid, doesn't like his father as he thinks that his dad was the cause of his brother Michael's suicide. He studies in a Uni, worked part time, got into a fight, went to jail, went out to club, had a problem with a cop and retaliate and took a bet to date the cop's daughter, has a weird talented sister that he really cares and made a heroic attempt to make his father to love his sister and in the end, he died. In 9-11 tragedy. Hence the Remember Me. Its a simple story. Not that great. It probably to show that every single people who died in the tragedy was normal people and not expected for such thing to happen. The best part was when Robert was in his father's office looking out of the windows. He must have saw the plane. I was wondering, what was he thinking when he saw that. He knew that he couldn't avoid it hence what was the last thing he had in mind before he died. Me?...Joking..

Storyline: C
Actor level of hotness: B- ( what? I love trouble kid)
Cinematography: C+
Overall: C

4) Step Up 3
Lets make it simple. Storyline..naaa..The dance's moves. Awesome. The story continues from Moose who just got into NYU found a new group of dancers. Since its a sequel, comparatively, I like the dance moves in Step Up 2. Remember the one in the train and in the rain? Cool. Step up 3 has more variety of dance moves, not only confined to freestyle. But definitely it gonna make you feel like dancing. Woohhooo..hit it. And.....I found my new eye candy!!...Please google Daniel Cloud Campos..Haha..again not a desperado act. More of my normal daily routine. Haha

Storyline: D+
Actors level of hotness: A- for Cloud, C+ for Moose. The rest are just fine
The Choreography: Love the dance in the Uni (because Cloud was in it), the one with the pool of water and the robot dance = B+
Overall = C+

So, you can start download now. Enjoy.
