mama continues

Last time i was home was last december. From then until now, Mama's condition is static. She uses the wheelchair to walk (instead of sitting on it), she will push it and walk. The expressive dysphasia is slightly improving. At least, she able to complete a sentence once in a while such as " habis tu macam mane?", " adik sudah makan?". Depression?, slightly improving. She needs someone to talk to. And probably, since the twins are off to college, the house is pretty quite, and she probably feels lonely. She was very ecstatic when Bg Pul and Bg Shah stopped by. She ate with them. She too very happy when MamaSu and aunty Anni came. There was once, she asked me to go to Mummy's house. Just to tell her something. She could have just call her but instead i drove her. It looked like something very important and urgent, probably about the business? or any massage appointments. I gave her a smirk when i know about the "very important" message. She asked Mummy to take Comel (the cat) to her house and keep her there. And took back the cage that someone's borrowed from her. That was so cute of her really.

Mama and Ibu are really into this Indonesian Sinetron or drama. They never miss them even once. I was doing something with my computer while she was watching her favourite drama. And suddenly the volume turned up really loud I almost jumped off and she threw the remote to me, "Mama tak tau, mama tak tau". I only managed to shook my head and smile. Once, while i was again with the computer, suddenly, it was all quite and when i turned back, the TV became mute and she changed to channel 900something and staring on that blank screen while her fingers kept on pressing the buttons. Then she gave me that look again "Mama tak tau"


She doesn't eat much. But good thing is she knows her medications well, what to take, when to eat and how many. I also notice that she doesn't really care much about her vanity nowadays. Before, she will make sure that her tudung matched the gown, the colour of the lipstick was important, the fragrance she used, and the jewelry to match the outfit. But now, she will grab any tudung that is available and no lipstick on her face. Whenever i want to snap her picture, she will say "taknak, tak elok," Maybe that is not important anymore.
