few days ago, i received a surprise phone call from a friend. not a usual friend, more or less an old colleague. She was a doctor and we worked together when we both in medical posting. it was awkward because we don't really close; ie we never had a lunch together last time and we didn't really tell stories to each other and receiving a phone call from her after more or less 1 year after that, it was kinda weird. anyway, we went out for a lunch. she is happy. she made the best decision of her life, that's what she said. she feels more freedom and it is the kind of the lifestyle that she wants. i am happy for her. i felt fishy though and i was right. end up that the lunch was for a piece of favor she needs for her work. to be the guests in her up coming project thingy that involves something like nutrition and diet. pity her. it was a major mistake she did because she was asking a wrong person from the beginning. i don't do diet. i don't really care about my health a...

pernah tengok horror movie? pernah tengok orang yang disiat kulitnye sampai jadi macam gambar kat atas? scary ek? let me tell you what is scary. it is scary to see a man in that condition is still alive. still breathing and the eyes still moving. i attended to an operation; wound debridement and split skin graft for a patient with 70% burn. he was quite famous though. those HO who had undergone burn ward rotation will tell the same story. "it was horrible" i couldn't believe my eyes. it was difficult to describe though. the whole trunk was burn but the skin was quite ok. both of his hands were badly injured. you can see the bone at certain part and blood was dripping when you removed the dressing. the face. the whole skin burned. the eyes exactly like in the picture. lot of slough at the wound. very very minimal skin left for him. when i saw him, the only question that keep on repeating in my mind during the operation was "what have you done wrong until you become li...

everyone, now lets do the math this picture.... this is a wild boar and this picture these are the monkeys what are the two pictures have in common??? the answer is..... we can see them both in front of our chalet in B.A.K.O YAATTTA!!! Lalu KP tergelak dengan keji...hahahaha.. yes, that is absolutely right. we went to Bako yesterday. it was fun. we left the house on 17th may 2009 around 2pm, went to the Bako jetty by taxi. (initial plan was to go there by bus, to make it more adventurous but since the taxi also on the way to Bako to pick up customer and he offered us with quite a reasonable fare, so we just went on with that. RM10 per person to the jetty) we took the semi D chalet , cost RM50 per room. they also have a house and dorm for accomodation. the boat ride was fun. and guess what we found??? a crocodile!!!!!....but a tiny one. the boat ride only took about hmmmm...less than 1 hour. 30-40minutes?or even less. i am not sure. i was awestrucked by the beautiful scenery hence i do...

i lost a patient during my last call. the patient that i first met when i was in medical posting and was then admitted to the surgical ward. what i remember about her, apart from all the illnesses that she had was how difficult it was to take her blood. she has a very supportive family members especially her husband who always there for her. they were a very sweet couple. always joking with each other. that night, when i was on call, i received a call that someone collapse in the ward. never slipped in my nearly empty mind at that time that the person was her. i saw her and talked to her 2 hours prior to that during her hemodialysis and she was fine. i met her husband after that. this was the first words he uttered to me "35 years doctor. 35 years. akhirnya berpisah jugak (at last, we separated)" he must have love her soooo much. during ups and downs. rarely we see this kind of couples nowadays. the soulmate for live. and i found this interesting ads as well. i hope i also wi...
